1. The Northglenn Reference
Northglenn Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, record indexes, and historical collections connected with Northglenn, Adams County, Weld County, and Colorado. It does not host government records, certify an entry, or rescind one, and it is not affiliated with an office, court, library, or records custodian. The developed city generally routes through Adams County, while the municipal boundary includes a remote Weld County Section 36 exception.
Record types have separate limits. Colorado vital-statistics records are confidential under C.R.S. §25-2-117, so a birth, death, marriage, or related certificate must be requested from the eligible custodian rather than treated as an open resident directory.
2. Lawful Use Rules
Use the reference and anything reached through it only for a lawful, responsible purpose. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Stalking, harassing, intimidating, threatening, or harming a person
- Using the service to locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Identity theft, fraud, or another deceptive act
- Making an FCRA-regulated decision involving credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another covered purpose
- Scraping, copying, or republishing the content at scale
- Interfering with the site's operation, access controls, or security
3. No Consumer Reporting Function
Northglenn Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency as that term is defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither the reference material nor a result returned by a linked search tool is a consumer report. Do not use either to evaluate eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose covered by the FCRA.
4. Outside Portals
County and state portals, city forms, library collections, archives, and sponsored search services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their content, availability, prices, security, or data practices, and a link does not make any outside service part of Northglenn Residents Directory.
5. No Warranties
The reference is supplied "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. No promise is made that a page, office detail, record description, link, or search portal is accurate, complete, current, available, or capable of returning a correct result.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of this reference or an outside resource. That limitation includes an action or decision based on a record reached through a link.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operators from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that results from your misuse of the reference or your breach of these terms.
8. Copyright and Reuse
The original writing, design, logo, and layout belong to the site operators and are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a short, attributed excerpt is welcome. Republishing full pages or making systematic copies is not permitted.
9. Changes to the Terms
A revised version may be posted here at any time. Continued use after a revision is posted means that you accept the changed terms.
10. Restricting Access
Access may be blocked or limited for a user who violates these terms or abuses the reference. The operators may take that step at their discretion and without advance notice.
11. Colorado Governing Law
Colorado law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record inspection and copying are addressed by the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. §§24-72-201–206. Criminal-justice records are governed separately by the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act, C.R.S. §§24-72-301 et seq. Northglenn charter §4.15 opens municipal public records under applicable state statutes.
Vital-statistics records remain subject to confidentiality rules, including C.R.S. §25-2-117. These citations describe the custodians' legal framework; they do not require this private reference to create an all-residents database or to release a protected record.
12. Severability
If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
